Mr Parker since we met him is genuine, friendly, respectful and attentive. He looked after my mother in law for her knee replacement on 17th April at KGH and we have been for our check up in Queens post surgery and Mr Parker remains sincere and cares for his patients. My mother in law is really pleased with her surgery, delighted with her scar which is so neat and straight and wished she had it done years ago!! Mr Parker’s registrar also very caring and sincere Thank you for caring for my mother in law.

From the constant pain from my arthritic knee, and the fear of the knee replacement surgery, I am now looking forward to getting back to a life of all the activites I'v been missing. My gardening, my zumba classes and daily walks. This turnaround is all due to Mr Parkar's expertise, bedside manner and assurances that I will be able to get back to my old normal. He instiled confidence from the very first examanation and honestly answered all my questions and truthfully told me what to expect after the operation. In hospital I was tretaed extremenly well by all the amazing staff even though I was in for just one night. Having agreed to a spinal injection and be awake for the surgery I was fearful of the unknown. The consultant anaesthetist, Dr Bawa, was equaly amazing and settled all my fears so that I looked forward to the experience and a positive outcome. All in all I am so gateful that I was able to have this surgery at the Spire and meet the amazing team that worked on my knee. Seven weeks on and I went driving today. My thanks to you all.

I had the good fortune to have an appointment with Mr Parkar having been in severe pain with my left knee for nearly a year being referred by a clinician - he was polite, kind and totally honest in his explanation of my needing a total knee replacement. He explained the procedure but also my (the Patient) commitment that would be required once the op was carried out, ie exercises, rest, and that pain & discomfort are a big part of the post op. Due to his clear and precise explanation of all aspects it enabled me to focus on all his instructions and get through the first 6 weeks post op. Due to his care and skill I suffered no infections, my scar is healing really well and now only several weeks since my op I have been walking and living my life as it was before the deterioration of my knee - something I had begun to think not possible. I cannot recommend this excellent surgeon enough, both in skill and humanity. Thank you for everything, I had forgotten the wonders of walking the dog out in the fresh air unaided no walking stick and just smiling from the pleasure - what a gift from such a talent.
